To carry out this mission, the college has three major goals:

  • To develop and operate education programs in humanitarian medicine for undergraduate and graduate students as well as practicing physicians and the general public.
  • To affect policy change that increases humanitarian medicine health care and addresses the root causes of health inequities.
  • To become the organizational home for the school’s existing humanitarian medicine-related activities as well as to develop new programs that reflect the college’s mission of teaching, research, patient care, and community service.

CCHM provides humanitarian service to under serve people in local community and abroad in collaboration with WONM Foundation Canada in communities with a minimum of technological, financial, and human resources.
